Almond Flour Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Gluten-free almond flour banana muffins are just the treat you have been looking for! This recipe is so easy and has become a staple in our home. These muffins are so light and fluffy with the best flavors. Sweetened with just bananas and a little maple syrup. Add in almond flour, almond butter, cinnamon and cloves creating the perfect texture and taste. Then mix in chocolate chips, because we all know banana bread is better with chocolate! The best part is they are not filled with all the sugar and a healthier treat the whole family will love! I hope you ENJOY!!!

  • 4 ripe bananas

  • 1 3/4 cups almond flour

  • 1/4 cup almond butter

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves

  • 3/4 cups chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line muffin tin with liners.

  2. In a mixing bowl mash bananas until smooth with very little chunks.

  3. Add almond butter, maple syrup, eggs, vanilla, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and cloves. Mix until combine.

  4. Mix in almond flour, until batter is smooth.

  5. Gently fold in chocolate chips with a spatula.

  6. Fill muffin tins 3/4 of the way full.

  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
