Bacon Green Bean

The best part about green beans... The beautiful colors they add to a plate. These bacon green beans are so quick and easy to make. They taste amazing, exploding with bacon and garlic. The perfect side dish for holidays, barbecues or anything else you could think of. ENJOY!

Serves 6 Prep Time 5 minutes Total Time 15 minutes


  • 1 pound green beans (fresh or frozen)

  • 1/2 pound bacon chopped

  • 1/2 yellow onion chopped

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic

  • 2 tablespoons of water

  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. In a large skillet cook chopped bacon on medium heat until golden brown, then add onion and garlic and saute in bacon grease stirring continuously for 3 minutes.

  2. Add green beans to skillet and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Let green beans cook for 5 minutes, then add water, cover skillet and let simmer until the green beans are to desired consistency.

  4. Remove from heat and serve.

  5. ENJOY!!!!
