Gluten Free Chicken Stroganoff

This delicious, gluten free, creamy chicken dinner is the perfect easy meal for any night. Filled with the flavors of perfectly seasoned chicken breasts, mushrooms, broccoli and a sour cream sauce, then topped with fresh Parmesan cheese! The perfect addition to your favorite gluten free noodles. Easily thrown together in 30 minutes. This meal is soon to be a favorite in your house! Hope you ENJOY!!!

Makes 6 servings Prep Time 10 min Cook Time 20 mins Total Time 30 min



  • 3 large chicken breasts

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 4 tablespoons gluten free flour

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • salt and pepper to taste

Stroganoff Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1 small yellow onion

  • 2 cloves diced garlic

  • 16 oz slices mushrooms

  • 1 head of broccoli, chopped up

  • 2 1/2 cups chicken stock

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 3 tablespoons corn starch

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • Parmesan cheese


  1. In a medium bowl combine garlic, onion, flour, salt and pepper. Slice chicken into thin strips and coat in flour mixture.

  2. In a large skillet heat butter over medium heat. Sear chicken until done. Set aside.

  3. To make the stroganoff add butter, onion and garlic to pan that you cooked chicken in and saute. After about 4 minutes add mushrooms and broccoli and cook until done.

  4. Add chicken stock, sour cream and soy sauce to pan and bring to a simmer.

  5. Remove about 3 tablespoons of liquid and add in a cup, then add corn starch to cup, stirring until a slurry is created. Add to pan and continue to simmer until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.

  6. While sauce is thickening make gluten free noodles according to package.

  7. Add chicken to sauce and let cook on medium-low until noodles are done.

  8. Remove from heat and add noodles to stroganoff.

  9. Top with Parmesan.
